Turning Point

Turning Point is a specialist treatment, research and education service based in Victoria. Our vision is to improve the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities adversely affected by alcohol, drugs and gambling.

 

About the role

Turning Point’s Telephone and Online Services (TOLS) operates an integrated network of 24/7 drug, alcohol and problem gambling counselling, information, consultancy and referral services across six States/Territories in Australia.  TOLS operates a number of National support services including Counselling Online (www.counsellingonline.org.au) and Gambling Help Online (www.gamblinghelponline.org.au) which provide online counselling, email support, self-help tools and community forums. Services are delivered over multiple channels including phone, chat, email, sms and social media.

The Digital Application Support Specialist is responsible for reliable and efficient operation of applications that support the delivery of clinical services as TOLS. The Digital Application Support Specialist is the first point of contact for all application support needs, incidents and requests including resolving issues, providing technical assistance to improve user experience, performing system administration tasks and necessary maintenance to ensure application availability and accessibility for continuity of clinical service delivery.

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field
  • Experience administering and supporting CRM applications
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platforms
  • Experience supporting M365 applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with an ability to work with limited supervision

Desirable

  • Experience with Salesforce administration, support and/or development
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and DevOps
  • Experience with cloud contact centre platforms (CCAAS)
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Willingness to assume higher duties as required

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
