About the role
Spectrum is a centre of clinical excellence for personality disorder. Its mission is to apply best available evidence to improve treatment and recovery for those with borderline personality disorder. Spectrum’s work can range from contributing to research, capacity building in the workforce (statewide and nationally), to providing a full clinical service of empirically supported treatment interventions including: specialist assessment and case management, individual and group psychotherapy, biomedical treatments and secondary consultation (including telephone and online).
The Statewide Services Grade 4 Psychology position is responsible for providing leadership within the psychology discipline, and clinical supervision for the Grade 3 Psychologists across Statewide Services.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A passion about taking on a leadership role for psychology in Statewide services, including advocacy, clinical expertise and program development.
- Current registration with AHPRA
- A minimum of 10 years clinical experience post qualification.
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
