ECASA provides free counselling and advocacy services to adults and young people/children in the Eastern Region who have experienced sexual assault recently and in the past.

 

About the role

 

ECASA is seeking an Administrative Officer with an interest in working within the specialist area of sexual assault, and a capacity to respond to people from diverse ages and backgrounds. 

The Administrative Officer is an integral part of the service, and you would be part of a supportive, experienced and hardworking team. You would need to be able to manage competing demands and understand multiple processes. You would be the first point of contact for clients and professionals at reception and via phone, and tasks would include managing appointments, working closely with the ECASA counselling team, other Eastern Health departments, and consistent record management to assist in the smooth running of the service.

The on-going hours are on a Thursday and Friday. Casual hours will be varied M-F.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
