Administration Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled administration assistant to work as part of our team, at the Breast and Cancer Centre. 

Eastern Health’s Breast and Cancer Centre is co-located on the Maroondah Hospital site providing multidisciplinary outpatient clinics. The Centre supports improved access to care and treatment for people affected by breast and other cancers, as well as clinics for haematology, supportive and palliative care at Eastern Health.

The centre works collaboratively with all services and programs both locally and across Eastern Health and provides care for approximately 20,000 patients per annum.   

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:  

  • Maintaining day to day business function of the Centre, by completing a varied range of specialised administrative tasks, supporting our clinical teams
  • Liaising with members of the multidisciplinary team, and relevant community service providers to help facilitate the delivery specialised care
  • Working as a highly motivated part of a diverse team.  
  • Being a key part of quality improvement activities at the centre.  
  • Maintaining high level Customer Service – this is a largely patient facing role.
