About the role
The Car Park and Fleet Management team plays a vital role in supporting Eastern Health staff by ensuring seamless access to parking facilities and fleet services. As an Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support across both car park and fleet operations.
This role is diverse and dynamic, requiring attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and strong communication. You will manage staff access to car parks, onboard users of the Pool Car booking system, maintain accurate records, and support daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery. The role also contributes to compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven administrative and clerical experience in a busy, service-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and data systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to respond to staff enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Confidence in liaising with internal stakeholders such as Payroll, Security, and other departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and use specialised systems
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in facilities, fleet, or car park administration
- Familiarity with access systems, booking systems, or database management
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation Handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date before employment.
