  • Permanent, part-time role working 8:30am – 5:00pm Fridays and every second Wednesday
  • Opportunities to take on additional shifts through planned and ad hoc leave cover
  • Supportive team culture with collaborative colleagues and open communication

About the role

ECASA is seeking an Administrative Officer with an interest in working within the specialist area of sexual assault and the ability to respond to people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

As an integral member of the service, you will join a supportive, experienced and dedicated team. The role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, navigate multiple processes and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. As the first point of contact for clients and professionals, both in person and over the phone, you will be responsible for managing appointments, maintaining accurate records and working closely with the ECASA counselling team and other Eastern Health departments.

This position offers a consistent part-time schedule, with opportunities to increase your hours through additional leave cover shifts across the administration team. It is well suited to someone who values flexibility, enjoys variety in their work and is looking for a role that can adapt alongside their changing circumstances and availability over time.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • A respectful, compassionate and person-centred approach
  • Flexibility, reliability and strong time management skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality service
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative, reception and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
