About the role

Maroondah Continuing Care Team is a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing case management and collaborative recovery oriented treatment and care for adults with a severe mental illness. We work with consumers, their carers, families and other community agencies to identify and address needs, coordinate care and assist in recovery.

We are seeking an Allied Health Senior Clinician to join our team in providing a highly responsive and flexible service to our consumers. The Allied Health Senior Clinician plays an essential role in the team's ability to provide a collaborative, person centred and recovery-oriented approach to our community consumers in a supportive environment.

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Relevant registration for your discipline/Current registration with AHPRA / eligible for membership of AASW
  • Sound theoretical knowledge of clinical assessment and interventions in mental health. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to and ability to practice utilising the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
