About the role 

 

The Adult Mental Health Service is an established regional integrated service incorporating Crisis Assessment and treatment, Emergency department response, telephone triage, Mental health and police and Ambulance Victoria teleprompt. 

 

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Adult Mental Health Access Service for passionate and enthusiastic psychiatric enrolled nurse with sound clinical mental health experience (minimum 5yrs experience).  

 

The psychiatric enrolled nurse level 3 will be responsible for supporting the adult access service in providing direct and indirect care and in collaboration and consultation with health care recipients, their families and community as well as RPN’s and other health professionals to plan, implement and evaluate integrated care that optimise outcomes for recipients and the systems of care.  Please see attached position description. 

 

About you   

 

To be successful in this role you will possess;  

 

  • Current professional registration with AHPRA as Enrolled Nurse 

  • Minimum of 5 years working across acute mental health settings  

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills 

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team  

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
