About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Instrument technician to jpoin Maroondah hospital CSSD on a part time basis.
We are rsponsible for the reprocessing of RMD's for Surgery,
Endoscopy and other areas of the hospital. The CSSD team are skilled, friendly, supportive and dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in reprocessing of medical equipment.
This will be an opportunity to develop your career in the sterilising service.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Grade IV certificate in Sterilising Services
- Experience in CSSD
- Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends and public holidays
- Basic computer skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Experience or knowledge of decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments in accordance with AS/NZ 5369 (2023) is required.
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
