WS Statewide Services runs a number of programs that include telephone and online services, including Nurse and Midwifery Support, Dental Practitioners Support and Gambling Help Online.

About the role

The position is based in Richmond within Turning Point’s communications team. This position will lead a marketing team responsible for delivering campaign and marketing support across Turning Point programs. The role requires solid knowledge and skills in marketing, social media and project management to effectively promote our services. The incumbent will be responsible for enhancing programmatic marketing initiatives to effectively engage with our target audiences — consumers, carers, peer groups, community members, professionals, key stakeholders in the gambling, and alcohol and other drug sectors.

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

 

Essential

  • A degree-level qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience working in-house or in an agency setting.
  • A marketing background delivering best practice multi-channel campaigns. You are accustomed to bringing various programs to life across differing timelines and workflows.
  • Knowledge and experience of contributing to the delivery of multi-channel campaigns from the ideation phase through to evaluation.
  • Experience reporting on key outcomes to management with an understanding of online analytics.
  • Strong project management, time management and budget management acumen, including ability to prioritise and organise workflows.
  • Experience writing and editing content for online and print collateral.
  • A relationship-builder experienced in collaborating closely with internal and external partners.

Desirable

  • Experience in health promotion, gambling or alcohol and other drug fields.

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
