About the role

Join our Core Laboratory team here at Eastern Health Pathology. You will work as part of a team to achieve high quality work and produce accurate and timely results.

And enhance your skills within the Core Lab environment while making a real impact on patient care.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us on a permanent part-time basis (28 hours per fortnight). You will participate in a 24-hour roster and be expected to work every second weekend. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)
• Experience and sound knowledge in Automated Biochemistry, Transfusion, Haematology and Coagulation
• Post Graduate qualifications desirable
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
