Mental Health Clincian (Child and Youth) Ringwood Community Team

About the role

 

The Ringwood Community Team provides advanced mental health assessment and evidence based treatments for young people and their families in the outer eastern region. As a Grade 2/RPN3 clinician, you would hold a caseload of allocated clients and be supported by senior clinicians in the team along with the team leader and consultant psychiatrist. The team has a strong focus on providing high quality care and providing opportunities for learning, reflective supervision and ongoing professional development.  

 

About you 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

 

  • Qualified OT, social worker or clinical psychologist with 1 year of experience and registration with AHPRA
  • Qulified Social Worker, eligible for AASW registration and 1 year of experience 
  • Post Graduate qualifications in developmental psychiatry course, family therapy or child psychotherapy are desirable but not essential
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills


Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
