About the role
Eastern Health operates five pharmacy departments. Our enthusiastic team of pharmacists and technicians are dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based care to our patients at the time they are most needed. Our pharmacy department strongly values professional development and clinical education. We have an ongoing commitment to practice-based research and offer opportunities for involvement to all staff.
This position has the responsibility of providing comprehensive pharmacy services within Eastern Health Mental Health services. As part of this role, the Grade 1 or 2 mental health clinical pharmacist will work in partnership with consumers, families, carers, supporters and other service providers to provide high quality clinical pharmacy and mental health treatment, care and support. The role may involve travel and working across multiple Eastern Health sites, as well as participating in rotational clinical pharmacy services.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Experience in Australian public hospital pharmacy
- Clinical experience in mental health pharmacy services
- Highly developed interpersonal experience
- A strong commitment to high-quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
To be successful for a Grade 2 pharmacist position, applicants must meet the Grade 2 hospital pharmacist classification criteria as applied at Eastern Health.
