About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled and passionate occupational therapist with clinical experience working in an acute inpatient setting to join our occupational therapy team, on a temporary part time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing an occupational therapy service across inpatient surgery and orthopaedics as well as providing clinical supervision to staff and students. The Eastern Health Occupational Therapy Service is committed to the provision of high quality, patient centred care and strongly values professional development.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current occupational therapy registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the management of acute orthopaedic and surgical conditions
- Excellent organisational and self-management skills
- A strong commitment to high quality, evidence based care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
