About the role
An exciting parental leave opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to step into the role of Allied Health Team Leader / Grade 3 Occupational Therapist within our Hospital In The Home (HITH) team. We are seeking a skilled and experienced clinician with strong expertise in occupational therapy assessment and intervention, complemented by demonstrated leadership capability. In this dual role, you will provide senior clinical care to a mixed general medicine / surgical caseload while also leading, supporting and developing a team of allied health clinicians. As a Grade 3 clinician, you will provide expert clinical input, complex case consultation, and mentorship to less experienced staff.
You will be an enthusiastic and adaptable leader with excellent communication, organisational and clinical reasoning skills, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care and staff wellbeing. Experience in leading teams, managing competing priorities and supporting change within a healthcare setting will be highly regarded.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to build on your clinical and leadership expertise, supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team and the HITH NM.
