About the role
Patient services assistants support the care of our patients by supporting the clinical teams in their roles. No day is the same in this role. Patient Services Assistants work across all areas of the hospital responsible for many patient related tasks. This may include internal patient transport, bed cleaning, patient support, movement of equipment, numerous other cleaning & patient related tasks.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Certificate III in Healthcare
- Experience in a similar role, desirable
- Experience using CARPS or another task management system
- Experience using bed movers, hover mats and other types of equipment
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- A strong commitment to high quality care and safety
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
