Pharmacy Technician - Maroondah Hospital

 

 

  • Permanent and fixed term positions available, F/T or P/T
  • Grade 1, 2 or 3 - Up to $64,454 P.A. (paid pro rata) 
  • Based at Maroondah Hospital | Car parking available
  • Generous salary + super + salary packaging + 5 weeks' annual leave per year

About the role
 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician who would like to join the pharmacy team at Maroondah Hospital. Multiple positions available based at Maroondah Hospital and may include rotations to other Eastern Health Pharmacy sites when appropriately trained. Additional shifts may become available if interested. Training and orientation will be provided.

 

About you 

 

Desirable skills include:

 

  • Knowledge of medication names and experience with the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately dispense prescriptions
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skill
  • Certificate III or IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
