- Work a rotating roster across a 7-day week, including public holidays

About the role
We are excited to announce a brand-new position within the SECU Diversion Team, a specialized stream of the Mobile Support Team (MST) at Eastern Health. The SECU Diversion Mental Health Clinician (RN3) works collaboratively with individuals with lived experience of mental illness, along with their families and carers, to deliver intensive, psychosocial, recovery-focused support on an assertive outreach basis.
This role provides an opportunity to engage a specific cohort of consumers using an intensive case-management approach, guided by the Collaborative Recovery Model. The position focuses on promoting recovery, enhancing wellbeing, and supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals.
About you
To be successful in this role you should possess the following:
- A current annual Registration as a Psychiatric Nurse registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA)
- A minimum of 12 months’ clinical mental health experience as a qualified Registered Nurse in a range of mental health settings.
- Sound theoretical knowledge of clinical assessment and interventions in mental health.
- Demonstrated commitment to and ability to practice utilizing the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
