About the role
When attending a discovery day, you will be introduced to our team of qualified intensive care nurses, doctors and multidisciplinary team members. You will experience a stimulating learning environment, and a great education and clinical nursing team. It is hoped the experience will assist you with a view to exploring possible application for a Transition to Specialty Practice Program (TSP) with us in the future.
You can elect use your available paid Professional Development leave entitlements to attend this day with the approval of your manager. Please inform us and we will issue an attendance certificate. We will also ask you on the day to fill in an evaluation feedback form to help us continue to improve.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
- Current / recent experience in acute Medical or Surgical nursing
- A strong commitment to seeking opportunities for personal development and advancement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team in delivering high quality care

We can also provide you further information about us and our student learning opportunities and discuss your first steps towards your potential future career in ICU.
