Senior Clinician Intensive Mobile Treatment Team

 

  • Temporary Full Time until October 2025- Opportunities for ongoing roles within the Mental Health program following contract period
  • Ringwood East Location| paid parking on site available and close to public transport
  • Salary range $101,597.00 to $121,472 dependent on qualifications and experience

About the role

The Intensive Mobile Treatment Team is a specialist team within ICYMHS which provides specialist mental health assessment and intervention to the most vulnerable and at-risk young people in our community, their families and support systems. The team has a flexible approach, providing care via both outreach and clinic-based appointments, and works systemically to ensure consistency of care for young people engaged with multiple service systems due to their complexity.

 

The team has a strong culture of reflective practice, supervision, ongoing professional development and robust structures that support this. As a senior clinician you would hold a designated case load whilst also playing an important role in supporting more junior staff in the team and maintaining a positive work environment.

 

This is a fixed term contract and for the right candidate, an ongoing role within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Program will be found at the completion of the fixed term period.

 

About you 
To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Allied health with five years post graduate experience in mental health field.
  • Current OT, Clinical Psychology or Nursing registration with AHPRA. Social work eligibility for membership with AASW
  • Post Graduate qualifications in family therapy, child psychotherapy is desirable
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience, or willingness to actively develop these skills
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • A desire to engage in reflective practice within a team environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills


Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
