About the role
Are you passionate about supporting people with a lived experience of mental ill health reach their full potential?
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver evidence-based, recovery-oriented psychosocial interventions in consumers’ homes and community settings.
- Contribute to case discussions, contribute to clinical decision-making, and actively support risk management processes.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external services to ensure seamless, consumer-centred care pathways.
- Support service improvement projects, quality initiatives, and the development of psychosocial practice within the team.
- Maintain accurate documentation, contribute to reporting requirements, and uphold high standards of professional practice
About you
Are you passionate about supporting people with a lived experience of mental ill health to reach their full potential?
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A tertiary mental health or related qualification (Relationship/Family Counselling, Nursing, Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Disability Services, Community Development, or related discipline)
- Demonstrated experience in the mental health field, with a minimum 5 years in the mental health setting
- Demonstrated strong commitment to and ability to practice utilising the recovery approach in mental health
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
