About the role
Maroondah Operating Suite has 4 Theatres caring for patients requiring Speciliaties such as Orthopaedics, Plastics including major reconstructive surgery, Urology, Breast & Endocrine and General Surgery.
The successful applicant will work co-hesively with the Multi-displinary Team providing excellent care for our patients. We provide a Monday-Friday service with reduced capacity at the weekends and after hours on-calls.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Minimum of 24 months as a Grade 3 or 36 months as a Grade 4 Theatre Technician
- Certification IV in Operating Theatre Technician Support (HLT47515
- Post Graduate qualifications in xxx)
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
