  • Permanent Full Time | 80hrs per fortnight | ADO every 4 weeks

About the role
We are seeking a Purchasing Officer with extensive buying experience to lead our high-performing small purchasing team.

 

About you

Reporting to the Associate Director Supply you will have:

  •  Proven experience in leading with a hands on approach to the buying process from requisition through to purchase orders.
  •  Demonstrated understanding of customer service of internal and external customers and is committed to effectively meeting customer needs in a helpful and professional manner.
  •  Experience in similar role with use of Oracle (or similar software package)
  •  Computer literacy and understanding of MS Office and windows based systems (minimum of intermediate level)
  •  Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated time management capabilities.
  •  Advanced and effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
  • The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Formal leadership training will be highly regarded


Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
