About the role
Chandler House CCT is a multidisciplinary, community based public mental health service providing recovery focused case management. The role of the Senior Clinician is to provide high quality assessment and support for our consumers, and support the team to meet clinical demand and maintain team wellbeing. A typical day includes managing your own caseload, supporting case managers to work with complex clinical presentations and contributing to team improvement projects.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Relevant registration for your discipline/Current registration with AHPRA/ eligibility for membership AASW
- Sound theoretical knowledge of clinical assessment and interventions in mental health.
- Demonstrated commitment to and ability to practice utilising the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
