About the role
Eastern Health is currently looking for passionate and experienced Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department. Eastern Health operates five pharmacy departments, located across the eastern region of Melbourne. Our pharmacy department strongly values professional development and clinical education. We have an ongoing commitment to practice-based research and offer opportunities for involvement to all staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist who is passionate about working at Angliss Hospital, Peter James Centre and Wantirna Health. The position is based at Angliss Hospital and will rotate to Wantirna Health and Peter James Centre when adequately trained. Participation in weekend and public holiday shifts and on-call roster is required when trained. There will be opportunities to pick up extra shifts at any of the Eastern Health sites if interested.
Our pharmacists are supported by a broad multidisciplinary team and we welcome pharmacists from the community and private healthcare sectors to apply. All relevant experience will be considered.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Previous hospital pharmacists or community pharmacist experience
- Highly developed interpersonal experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
