About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic Clinical Support Nurse, with excellent clinical knowledge and recent experience in neonatal nursing practice. This exciting role is part of the Learning & Teaching Practice Capability team, within the Women & Children program, providing clinical support to learners and staff, primarily in our Special Care Nurseries and other areas providing care to newborns across Eastern Health.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
- Recent clinical experience in neonatal nursing
- Experience providing clinical support and teaching
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A Cert IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
