About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and innovative Physiotherapist to take on a clinical leadership role in Eastern Health’s Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP).
Based at Angliss CRP, you will lead the physiotherapy and support the interdisciplinary team, helping to shape and grow community rehabilitation services. With strong professional and operational mentorship, you’ll play a key role in developing junior staff and continually enhancing the quality of care delivered to our community.
Eastern Health’s CRP is committed to delivering great care, everywhere, every time. We are seeking a client-focused physiotherapist with a strong background in rehabilitation and a commitment to excellence in care and service improvement. You will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and actively support innovation and quality improvement initiatives.
To support your success, you will work closely with the CRP Team Leaders and Senior Clinicians across professions. You will also have access to regular clinical supervision from the Grade 4 Physiotherapy Clinical Lead and be encouraged to engage in professional development, research, and quality initiatives.

 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Extensive experience in the area of rehabilitation (community based experience desirable) 

  • Strong commitment to high quality patient care 

  • Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills 

  • Advanced clinical skills in managing a complex caseload using a client-centred approach 

  • Sound clinical reasoning skills within the field of rehabilitation including supervision and development of staff 

  • High level communication and coaching skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to introduce innovative practice and quality improvement 

 

Your Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the CRP Team Leaders in overseeing the day-to-day operational needs of the service, in alignment with Eastern Health’s mission and values

  • Lead the delivery of a high-quality, accessible, and coordinated service to clients in both home and centre-based settings

  • Provide clinical supervision and foster evidence-based practice among physiotherapy staff at Yarra Ranges Health and Angliss CRP

  • Support the CRP Team Leader in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and service targets as set by Eastern Health leadership and funding bodies

  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and team functioning

  • Hold and maintain a current Victorian Driver’s Licence, as travel between sites and community visits is required


Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
