  • Permanent Part Time and Limited Term Part Time | 56 hours per fortnight

About the role   

 

The Angliss Hospital Emergency Department cares for over 40,000 patients annually, with an average of 109 presentations per day. In addition to the 20 bed emergency care cubicles, we provide a 9-cubicle fast track multidisciplinary area, 16 bed Short Stay Unit for initial care of selected conditions for both adults and pediatrics’ up to 24 hours.   

 As part of the nursing leadership team of the Angliss Hospital Emergency team, you will be part of a highly dedicated multi-disciplinary team incorporating medical, nursing, clerical and allied health professionals.  We pride ourselves on providing our patients with timely access to high-quality care. About You 

 

  • To be successful in this role you will possess:  
  • Current Nurse Practitioner Registration with AHPRA   
  • Master of Nursing (Emergency) or Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (Emergency Nursing)   
  • Highly developed interpersonal and clinical leadership qualities   
  • have a strong background in Emergency Nursing/Medicine in public health.  
  • Ability to provide nominations of clinical supervisors and evidence of specialized practice    
  • A strong commitment to high quality care in a MDT team-based approach   

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
