About the role

An excellent opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist within the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS) based at Eastern Health.  The Physiotherapist will provide assessment and interventions for babies, children and adolescents as part of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation service at Angliss Hospital, Upper Ferntree Gully.  

 

Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service caters for babies, children and adolescents who require specialist rehabilitation for: 

  • Cerebral palsy tone management/ post intervention management 
  • Complex rehabilitation e.g. Acquired Brain Injury 
  • Early support and intervention for infants who are diagnosed as at high risk of cerebral palsy 

About you 
To be successful in this role you will possess: 

  • Current physiotherapy registration with AHPRA 
  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in paediatric physiotherapy

Clinical Experience in paediatric rehabilitation is desirable however please note that the position sits within an experienced multidisciplinary team and so this is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist wishing to build skill within this area. Clinical supervision from an experienced physiotherapist is available and co-treatment sessions with the wider multidisciplinary team are a key feature of VPRS practice


Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.  An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
