About the role
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our supportive and collaborative Wantirna team, working with GEM patients. This position will provide occupational therapy assessment and interventions, and support complex decision making and efficient discharge planning, with this varied and interesting caseload. The successful applicant will be involved in supervising staff and students and will work closely with the allied health team to provide excellent patient care.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated clinical experience in subacute occupational therapy
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A strong commitment to high quality, values based care
- Strong commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and client centered practice
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
