About the role  

An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and skilled Occupational Therapist to join Eastern Health, working with a palliative care & GEM population with our supportive team at Wantirna Health.  This position will be involved in providing occupational therapy assessment and interventions, and supporting complex decision making and effective discharge planning, with this varied and rewarding caseload. The successful applicant will be involved in supervising staff and students and will work closely with the allied health team to provide excellent patient care.    

  

About you    

To be successful in this role you should possess:  

  • AHPRA Registration  
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in subacute occupational therapy  
  • Strong interest in aged care and/or palliative care 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  • Ability to be flexible and change work priorities as required in a dynamic service 
  • A strong commitment to high quality, values based care  
  • Strong commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and client centered practice
