About the role

 

We have exciting opportunities for Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join us in our purpose-built residential aged care facility in Wantirna. Working in care led by Registered and Enrolled Nurses, you will support and assist residents by engaging in activities of daily living and lifestyle, supporting their well-being independence, privacy and dignity.

 

About you 

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

 

  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistance; Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent

  • Valid NDIS Screening Check

  • Previous experience working as a Personal Care Assistant in Residential Aged Care

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

 

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
