About the role
Eastern Health are seeking Palliative Care Registered Nurses to join our team in full or part time capacity, with a flexible rotating roster. As a dedicated Palliative Care Unit, we work collaboratively as a united team alongside our allied health and medical staff to ensure positive patient outcomes.
We are proud to announce that we have yet again exceeded our Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC via University of Wollongong) benchmarks. However, we believe that there is always still room to grow, and our involvement within research and quality improvements make for an exciting time to join us.
About you
As a Registered Nurse, your skills and experience will include;
- Current, condition-free registration with AHPRA
- Completion of a graduate nurse year
- Current or recent experience nursing in a palliative care setting
- Post Graduate qualification in palliative care (desired, but not essential)
- Ability to work a rotating roster including AM, PM and night shifts
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, providing patient focused care
- Active engagement in continued professional and career development
